Some of us grew up in the Episcopal Church, some of us come from
different faith backgrounds, and some of us are just beginning
to explore our own personal faith. Whatever your reason for visiting

St James Episcopal Church is a "broad
church" parish, offering a balance between the "low
church" and "high church" styles of churchmanship.
In worship and theology, this stresses and embraces the breadth
of Episcopal doctrine and practice. Music ranges the spectrum
from chant to classic hymns to post-2000 contemporary songs: accompaniment
varies between organ, guitar, piano, or other instrumentation.
Varied, approachable, and meaningful worship is valued. Periodic
worship offerings include Contemplative Prayer, U2charists, Taize,
and even Polka Masses.

Whoever you are, wherever you are
in life's journey, the Episcopal Church welcomes you. We celebrate
Holy Eucharist (Communion, the Lord's Supper, etc) on a weekly
basis. Our table is open--all Christians are welcome to receive
Communion. We believe in one God, the Holy Trinity-God, Jesus
Christ, and Holy Spirit. God continues to create, redeem and sustain
our world, and invites us to participate in that creation.
The Episcopal Church has about 2.5
million members in 7500 congregations in the United States and
other nations. Episcopalians study Scripture in the light of tradition,
reason, and experience. We are a church of worship and community
prayer… sacrament and liturgy… common sense and imagination…
unity and diversity… and we are a church that looks outward
as well as inward.
At St James Episcopal Church, we
